Who we are
KAREN — Your House, My Rules. provides property care, hosting support and turnover cleaning in Cape Town. Our base is HQ De Waterkant, Cape Town, 8001. Contact hello@karen.capetown or 082 588 8438 with a privacy question.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect the name, email address, phone number, property location, apartment size and service details you provide. You may also share a preferred date and notes. Hosting and database providers may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details to operate and secure the website. Please do not include access codes, identity documents or other sensitive information in the public form.
How we use your information
We use your details to respond to your request, confirm availability and scope, prepare quotes and invoices, provide agreed services and maintain relevant business records. The enquiry form asks for permission to contact you about that request. It does not subscribe you to marketing messages.
Service providers and external links
Our website is hosted by Vercel, and enquiry and workspace information is stored using Supabase. Authorised people and providers supporting an agreed service may receive the information needed for their role. Some hosting and data services operate outside South Africa.
Email and WhatsApp links open services with their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information.
Keeping information safe and retaining it
We use access controls and reasonable safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security. We retain information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, agreed services, business records or applicable legal obligations. Contact us to discuss a record you would like reviewed or deleted.
Your choices and requests
You may ask what personal information we hold, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or object to a use of your information. Contact hello@karen.capetown. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and legal record-keeping requirements may affect what can be deleted.
You can also contact South Africa’s Information Regulator about a privacy concern.
